Cops busted a New Jersey resident in connection to the fatal shooting of a man on the grounds of the Queensbridge Houses last month.
Patshawn McMitchell, 24, of Elizabeth, was tracked down in Watertown, New York, Thursday and returned to Queens, where he was hit with multiple charges — in including murder — for the Sept. 8 slaying of Dahmel Miller, 23, of Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
Miller was blasted in the stomach and buttocks inside a building on Vernon Boulevard near 40th Avenue, on the grounds of the NYCHA development, cops said.
Surveillance video from the lobby indicates Miller was shot somewhere between the front door and the first-floor staircase, police said at the time. He managed to make it up to the third-floor hallway, where he was found unconscious, cops said.
He was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
McMitchell has also been charged with acting in a manner injurious to a child.
Police said a female was on scene during the fatal shooting, but could not confirm her age.
McMitchell’s other raps are for criminal possession of a loaded firearm, menacing, criminal contempt and harassment, cops said.
