Tori Spelling claims she and her children witnessed an armed attack inside of a hotel, but did not give further details in her cryptic tweet.
“U know angels are watching when you are in the wrong place at the wrong time & you & kids & others around are unharmed afterwards,” Spelling, 47, tweeted on Thursday. “Never in my life did I think I would witness a man w/a machine gun who then started shooting. All are safe & we thank the hotel staff. #grateful”
The “Beverly Hills, 90210” star’s pal, actress Christy Carlson Romano, expressed her concern like many fans, and asked, “What?!?! OMG thank the angels you and your family are safe!!!”
However, Spelling did not respond or reveal any more details about the alleged incident.
A rep for the actress did not immediately return our request for comment.
Spelling shares daughters Stella, 12, and Hattie, 8, and sons Liam, 13, Finn, 8, and Beau, 3, with husband Dean McDermott.
McDermott, 53, has not posted about the alleged incident on social media.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, a man opened fire inside of a local hotel on Wednesday night. However, it is unknown if the alleged attack Spelling mentioned is the same incident. She and McDermott currently own a home in Hidden Hills, Calif., so it is not likely that she and her children were in Atlanta amid the coronavirus pandemic.
